In Star Trek: The Undiscovered Country the future is called just that; an Undiscovered Country. it is a term that Shakespeare attributes to death (“from whose bourne no traveller returns”). I prefer the former concept because it is something, I’ve found, I fear the most. Well rather, something I don’t trust in because I can’t see it. The future is seen through a mirror, darkly and that scares me a little. What will tomorrow bring.

I need to learn to trust my present and trust where God is leading me now.

Good plan! When I was a child, we were convinced that an atom bomb was gonna drop on us at any moment. Eventually though, we stopped thinking about it. The world might end tomorrow, but we still need to do the laundry and take a shower.
