Absolute Innocense in the face of the Dragon

My Daughter, my love for you proves unfit for protection in this world!
You go out, unarmed in the world of malevolence.
You carry love, compassion, and hope with your rosey cheeks and ignorance. So vulnerable.
May God have mercy!
Forgive me for not being there to prepare you for the hate. Forgive me for not equiping you better.
You will suffer blow upon blow. Your innocence will attract devils like honey to flies.
God see to you!
Your Unworthy Father

OriginalMudpuddler,

What an interesting poem. Must feel incredibly vulnerable to feel aware of danger and feel without protection or preparation. May incite bitterness to feel that the one who is supposed to rescue you is behind, or unwilling, or incapable, to save you. A heavy heart indeed.

I imagine they will feel this way, in a very short time.
Thanks for the read
