I have family member with schizophrenia

Hi friend,

Thank you for sharing. The fact you already know about this diagnosis is really positive. It will help you all to understand what’s going on in their mind and how to communicate rightly with them. As we don’t have much details about your relationship with this person and how it makes you feel, I can only assume that it can be overwhelming for you sometimes. So it’s okay to rest and set boundaries for yourself. Even if you have a family member with a mental health issue, you have your own life to live too, and it’s more than important.

Take care of yourself.

I understand that family support can sometimes feel overwhelming. Just understand that you are never alone. There is always someone who can provide support or information that can make everything easier.
