CocoConfession Fan #3

Trapped in this “comfort zone” that I find myself in. Having experienced depression for many years, I feel as if it’s put me in a chronic state of ‘do nothing’, like my brain isn’t telling me there’s an urgency to do something about it in order to get out of it. Feeling anger towards myself as I type this…also experiencing several fleeting thoughts to self harm as well…

Don’t be so hard on yourself.

I used to have a comfort zone where I would just stay home and do nothing outside. I wouldn’t even go outside to breath fresh air or talk to people or meet people. What I recently found out is that because I stayed inside my home I didn’t find any interest to be outside. My advice would be to try to take it a step at a time.

This post really hit home.
