ive been trying coping techniques that people have recommended and random ones on the internet, but none of them have worked and it just wastes time and makes it worse. does anyone know any? it would help me a lot
It’s a matter of trial and error. Often it’s a combination of therapy and medication. What doesn’t work sometimes might work at other times. You really need to connect with a therapist, so a systematic approach can be used. Also, make sure you’re taking care of your body, with decent nutrition, enough sleep and exercise. Twenty minutes of exercise that increases the heart rate, is often very helpful, as it causes the release of endorphins associated with reducing depression.
