@heartsupport This makes a lot of sense to me to the song. After losing my son I was 14 years old and me trying to save his life really fucks with my head. I dream about it over and over again. I have post-traumatic stress disorder that it flares up but when you lose a child people treat you like you are a disease because they are afraid that they see how my life is that they’re afraid to happen to them. So I’m a popular monster… I don’t think anybody heals from losing one of their kids

Hey there,
I cannot imagine how hard losing your son at such a young age has been. I want you to know that I hear your story and I am so sorry for your loss as well as your struggles with PSTD. I do not think you are a monster or a disease because of what you have gone through. In fact, I’d say the complete opposite. I think the fact that you are still here working through the motions with your struggles speaks volumes on how strong you are. We are all human and we all go through hardships in life, some worse than others. But there is always healing and comfort to be found. They can come in so many different forms, and as far away or hard to grasp as they may seem to be, they are always there. Never stop searching friend, I will be praying for you!

I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss, I don’t imagine there is much that could be harder to deal with than that at any age, but especially being so young yourself, and I know that there is nothing I can even begin to say that will change what happened.
You are right in that you will carry your son in your heart forever and these fears and doubts that you are expressing are the very things that tell me that you are not a monster but that you are strong and human.
I want to encourage you though that you are not alone, please keep reaching out for help, I know that if you keep working and believing in yourself that you will grow stronger!
