From lostgremlin: first, i just want to say that you are a very caring friend, it’s wonderful that you want to help, and i’m sure that your friend will appreciate your actions. i would highly suggest talking to them, that will let them know that you are there for them and that they are valued. it would also be important to know what they plan on doing, to alleviate your worries and so you know how to best support them.
