I have been right in his spot before. I’m in a different place now but have been hit with so much grief and loss this year especially past few months it’s overwhelming. I’m not angry at God now but find it very very difficult to see such immense suffering and loss as truly necessary for us as spiritual beings.

Hello there!
First, I am so sorry to hear about the grief you are dealing with. Grief is one of the hardest things to deal with, know that we are here for you, and I hope that you will grow around your grief for it to not feel as heavy. It can be hard to see so much devastation, and still remain spiritually in tact, it’s something I’ve struggled with.
Then there are the times when I see beautiful things happen, and then it can make those feelings have less of a fatal hit. I understand how hard this can be, and know that you are heard, and you are cared for. Thank you for being here and giving us an opportunity to share your struggle, I wish you the best :blue_heart:

You don’t have to believe the suffering and loss is necessary. Maybe it isn’t. But it’s happened - so many things in this world suck. But here now God is still with you, he cares. Your suffering and loss aren’t unnoticed, you’re not alone. These things may not be necessary, but still they can be an opportunity to grow, to grow stronger, more resilient, and to become a source of strength for others as well. Stay strong.

Hi. I definitely feel you on this. I’ve been dealing with a lot of loss myself, besides watching all the loss happening in the world currently. It hurts, a lot. But the only thing I can think of is that we need to keep going for the ones who can’t. I know they wouldn’t want us to give up. They would want us to enjoy this precious life we have. It’s hard to stay positive, but I’m doing what I can to focus on the positives. That I wake up in the morning and can breathe, that’s a great start for me.
