Hi there mysticalmysticx, it sounds like you have a lot going on right now and it’s understandable that you’d be overwhelmed – especially given that you haven’t gotten a break in for a long time.
Burn out is also real thing and it can be exhausting and is really hard to handle. It also sounds like you’re someone who likes doing a lot so there can be this dichotomy where you want to do more while not having the time to handle the added load (or perhaps feel guilty when not working?).
With that said, I just want to take a moment to acknowledge that this sounds like an overwhelming time and I’m wishing you the best as you navigate it. I certainly hope you get a break soon if it’s viable, and hope applications go well too.

I understand how frustrating it can be to balance your personal and work life. Personally, I struggle with this all the time and a few things that helped me was listening to music, journalling, and taking walks. Now, you mentioned that you can’t take a break, but maybe you can just try dedicating a portion of your time to treating yourself? It’s important to work and be productive, but it’s even more so being able to relax as it not only makes you happier, but it also decreases your chances of burning out; which is what you mentioned to have been feeling lately.
I also acknowledge that life can be especially stressful with school applications, band gigs, and work. Remember, we’re all here to support you, and you can reach out anytime on this trusted platform. While you’re feeling overwhelmed now, this might not be the case in the future, so keep being optimistic and strong.
