Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here reminds us that the experience of pain shifts when we don’t face it alone. While circumstances might not change, pain feels different when someone is by your side, sharing the journey. Having someone to swim through life’s fishbowl with—a friend, a partner, or a supportive community—adds a powerful layer of comfort and resilience. It’s a reminder that while pain is a part of life, connection can make it more bearable and even transformative.

A song I created. The song was inspired by The Avengers tv series 1968 (the year I was born which many bands used as fiction) episode Wish You Were Here. Have a Cigar was also an episode title of the tv show City Detective 1953. I named Pink Floyd as well and gave Roger Waters his stage name.
