When you are struggling with depression it feels like all you can see is the pain. It feels like an endless pit of hopelessness, numbness, sadness, and despair. The truth is that being at the BOTTOM can actually be a hopeful place to be. Just like Oli sings about in “Top 10 Statutes that Cried Blood.”

The reason that the bottom is a hopeful place to be lies in 2 fundamental truths. 1. Nothing is permanent 2. “Once you hit the bottom there is nowhere to go but up”.

If you can hold onto these truths while you are at your rock bottom it will help you climb up faster. Turn on Bring Me The Horizon and BLAST the bridge of this song. Scream it at the top of your lungs, and when you feel consumed by the bottom recall these lyrics to find your hope.
