i push back absolutely everyone. it’s so easy to put a mask on and no one knows, maybe they see i’m sad but they don’t know it and it’s getting harder each day but the person i used to talk to about it left

Hey @Hillsdale2. I agree. Rejection is very scary. It’s easier to push everyone away because you don’t risk your heart being hurt. But pushing everyone away takes you to a very lonely place. The thing about taking the risk is that sometimes something beautiful comes out of a person or a place you never expected it would come from.
I’m sorry you lost the person you were comfortable talking with. I’m glad you reached out on this forum, and I hope you continue to reach out. I hope that one day you are able to start letting others around you in.
