We all long for companionship. Loneliness comes easily when we all as human crave affection and closeness.
Finding the right person takes time and patience. So we have to fill our time with the things we love and enjoy in the mean time to keep busy. So that we don’t get stuck dwelling. What sort of things do you enjoy? What are your hobbies and interests?
There’s nothing wrong with turning to self pleasure in your own private time. It’s normal and human. You’re not really overreacting. You’re just a normal human being who longs for companionship.
