I’m sorry to hear about your grandmother. You provide much comfort to people with your reactions, just make sure to provide yourself with comfort too. Especially in hard times. Much love to you and your grandmother.
Now do Judith from a perfect circle
Judith by a perfect circle is the first in this trilogy…
there’s a couple other songs about maynard’s mother. jimmy, the patient and judith by a perfect circle.
He finally dealt with his grief and anger over his mother’s passing and let her go. I’m in my 50’s, saw them do this a couple times live back during their album tour. I can never listen to this without tearing up. Now go back and listen again without stopping and pay attention to how the music was written, and how it starts out low, because he’s sitting in the church at her funeral… and then continues to build, as if she’s being lifted up until finally she’s demanding her wings from the trinity. There are so many more levels to this song besides just the lyrics. When you stop you lose the flow of the song and music, and I get that you’re analyzing it, but now go back on your own, light a candle, kick back and really listen to it.
Now you have to react to Judith, by a perfect circle.
That last litte note, was a “death knell”.
Prayers for your family…
I loved this song before I got into hospice. Now I really love it. I deal with loss a lot in my professional life. This song is so on point with grief.
These two are tough to get through even if you are not going through any grief. Let it out. We got you! May your grandmother recover fast and well!
i love when a dichotomy has no sides only truth
Lost my mother to cancer in 2017 and this song makes me cry EVERY time I listen to it
Not sure if you listened to or not, but I would HIGHLY trccomend listening to Judith by A Perfect Circle. Very powerful
Now You have to listen to “Jimmy” by Tool and “Judith” by A Perfect Circle (second Maynrd`s band)
@HeartSupport Prayers for your Gran, & for you & your family in this difficult time, May God Bless & Protect you All, Always in All Ways.
My mom passed away on January 26 2024 of Bone cancer. I put my life aside and moved back home and took care of her the last 4 years of her life. It was hardest but the best thing I ever did. Bonding with her was amazing, watching her suffer was heart breaking. But I’m glad I did it. I love you mom.
Thank you for your tears and honesty I’m crying too, I see suffering in my mother right now
10,000 days is also roughly how many days for Saturn to make an orbit around the Sun.
Lost mom this past February after 3 strokes in one year. Song hits home hard.
