Therapist is Broken by Seether

i had 14 years of a bad marriage but wanted to see my kids through school. 12 years of separate beds. 12 years of no co parenting. at least 10 years of just living together as room mates. the tears that flow from my eyes as i try to put into words the both hurt and agony of being and living alone while married and trying to make a family work when family can be present, but my family unit just is not. i have a girl friend now after divorce , she doesn’t want marriage. i still love the concept. and believe in marriage. but i got screwed so hard by a women who said she loved me before. my girlfriend got screwed by a guy who knocked her up and disappeared. im ok with my three kids as it were now. but fick. i married my first wife. i tried to fix it. i tried to do everything. but im broken, you didn’t feel me anymore… my girlfriend now is my anchor

Seether’s cover of “Careless Whisper” is sooo goood

KillSwich Engage… Taylor would have a field day with those songs

Please listen to Gone Away by Five Finger Death Punch. - a veteran

Never stop before the breakdown without backing up 10 seconds to bring the build up back up after you are done talking

I always say its a shame Seether is mostly known for having made a song with Amy Lee.
Don’t get me wrong, Amy Lee is amazing, and so is this song. ( Even to a point, where every time you are at a Seether Concert, and they do play this song, people will shout, " Where is Amy " , must sting a bit also for them, having made so much amazing music, and the fact they where together and had a hard break up )
But Seether have made so many amazing songs, there lyrics are deep, and meaningful.
The front singer can sing, his voice is insane.
This band deserve to be more known, But most people just listen to this one song, and then move on from them.
Or as part as learning about Amy Lee.
And that to me is a shame.
To name a few songs to do by Seether that will show a bit of everything, because they have emotional down to earth songs, rock, heavy rock and metal songs.

One of the down to earth emotional ones could be : Tied my hands live.

Another could be there cover of Careless Whisper.

Or just an overall amazing song in : Fine Again

Or a song about a loss he had because of suicide, something that made him donate and do a lot to help with that issue.
( He lost his brother, part of why he had a drinking problem, but also why he got sober. And started singing and donating for mental health )

Or one of there harder songs : Gasoline

One of the newer ones could be : Forsaken

Or one of my favorites : The Gift

Even if you do not react to them, they are all worth listening to.

You should check out In This Moment.

AC/DC will always have the best intros, but Seether has some of the best opening chords in rock.

Try Soen- Deceiver! anxiety / depression

I scrolled through the responses and didn’t see anyone post it but the mother of his daughter is Amy Lee.

My ex girlfriend and I use to sing this song together. We are both very “broken” individuals so it’s no surprise that we’re no longer together. It was beautiful though.

She really sucked live though! And this song ended up being about their breakup. I saw seether live right after and he got so drunk he was humping his guitar on a speaker in Minnesota. It was one of the most amazing shows i saw seether in! It was at a night club

Stained “something to remind you” please.
