I am so so glad you picked the version with Amy Lee vocals. They rerecorded the song without her and somehow it doesn’t hit that hard. Great pick and a personal favourite.
Other great female vocalists from bands I’ve listened to are Flyleaf, Icon For Hire, Evanescence (obviously) Halestorm and In This Moment.
you need to react to Dead Boy’s Poem by Nightwish, live from Buenos Aires. I think you (and your subs) would really like that track! Tuomas (keyboardist and composer) has stated it’s his most personal song, and is how he would like to be remembered after he is gone, and this song features lead vocalist Floor Jansen which many compare to Amy Lee (or vice versa), although most would admit Floor is better… which is why I think you would like this, since you like this type of music and already love Amy Lee.
Absolutely love seether , rise above this is my favourite song. Singing about his brother who jumped off a roof and how it affected the family. Powerful stuff.

Oh, I almost forgot about this song. I think that dvideoclip really fits the mood of the song. From experience, “There is no shortcut” is a good advice. If you take too many of them, you will get lost.
