Snuff is a beautiful dark less heavier Slipknot ballad song that is amazing both studio and in concert. Snuff is also more like Corey’s other band Stone Sour both gnarly bands been listening to both bands since 8th grade now I’m an adult been listening their music since 05 or 06 very long time.

I’ve heard this song hundreds of times and every single time it never fails to give me goosebumps. It took the death of hope to let you go hits hard

I’ve recently found your channel and I just have to say I love your videos. You go straight into it, no BS, and I love the analysis from a therapist’s perspective.

Alot of people dont Realize the actual story behind this song and video, at the time corey was very depressed and suicidal due to his want and need to cross dress, this video was essentially his coming out, hence the level of emotion shown during the wine glass scene, another side note corey did attempt suicide twice during this record cycle.

Fun fake, the part where he breaks the glass and his hands bleeds, that his actually his blood. There was no fake blood in that scene

The blond haired women was actually Corey Taylor dressed as the girl.

Such a powerful song, tbh in the live acoustic you can see the pain while his singing

I don’t think you noticed that Corey was dressed as the chick when he left the hotel. That’s why the hotel worker looked at them weird

You should also watch MentalAmanda’s reaction to that song, she has a very interesting theory about the meaning of it.

You need to do the acoustic version, it’s so good and so deep.

Whats with the title though why is everyone in this generation against their masks? Do they not realize Each and every Slipknot mask resembles something to the member that wears the mask(like something that happened in their lives).
