The * represent the f word… * me the shot shots clip had me * howling. I Iove song but still feel like Electric Call Boy and Babymetal are guilty pleasures even after this combo. I know you have been down many rabbit holes. Ren and BMTH are the stand outs but there is one I go down often and that’s the band Brand New. I know there’s a controversy around the lead singer but there music has held such special place for me me for so long I can’t fully detach especially when I relate so much. As your music taste is very similar and eclectic as mine and you express your reactions similarly to mine I feel you’d appreciate. I do internalise more and going through a few things I know my coping mechanisms but watching your reactions has been part of it. The glass squares in the background trigger my ocd thoughts and they are not level!!!

Did you notice during the breakdown when Kevin (the growler from Electric Callboy) is bringing the sparking cables together - he sings the line, “I go f**king crazy cuz I’m waiting for the boom! Are you ready? Are you ready?” That second “are you ready,” with the deeper growl, wasn’t Kevin, it was Momometal, the newest member of BABYMETAL (she’s on screen left) . She also growls two of the “Everybody’s” at the very end, along with Kevin.

Electric Callboy are fun. Definitly look at their other songs like Techno Train or Pump it. Another suggestion would be “ifa - Burn your desires”

While avoidance isn’t advisable, sometimes you just need a distraction so you can keep going. If nothing else, they supply a distraction, that’s therapeutic enough
