Therapist Reacts to Cemetery Gates by Pantera

I grew up with them in the DFW music scene. So many drunken memories, good ones, at the basement and at Joes Garage. Have the tribute graphic of him covering half my back. RIP Dime your legacy will live forever.

Thats not right, how can this song be about grieving dimebag darrell, when his actually playing the guitar in the music video. Please do some accurate research on this song

Do some breaking Benjamin

Down in a hole by alice in chains! Make sure you do the live video again. It’ll move you

Diluted by Slipknot is a song that I believe if you looked into it would be interesting

I swear that Guitar is singing as a part of a duet in this Song.

you’ve heard one of the best guitarists that ever lived

Hollow should be your next Pantera song to react to… Talk about a therapy session of a song

I could only cry about my mothers death 3 times. One im the car back home and the other 2 was at random years later

Hey Terry, are you the guy that was trying to start the Heavey Metal Museum down in Dallas… ? Losing Dime was such a blow that none of us who met him will ever get over. Met him and the rest of the band when they opened for Skid Row in '92 and my group of friends were kinda the bands Philly friends always catching up with them when they came to town. Nobody better as a guitar player but also as a person than Dime… Unless he was trying to get you to get you to drink more. Still raise a nice Black Tooth Grin to him now and then.

try ozzy osbourne “ordinary man”

Floods by pantera…

Thank you for what you are doing. Only came across your channel in the last day and loved so many of your reviews.
After listening I thought I’d introduce you to another band who deal with some similar subjects.
Have a listen to Alterbridge - Blackbird, Isolation or I Know It Hurts.
Keep up the great work.!

Should do suicide note part I and II even tough they don’t have any videos.

You should listen to Fraulien by Colter Wall, it’s not a sad song, but it’s a good one.

that last high note on the guitar always tears me up. its like a cry for help.

It was written way before dimebag died but yeah it is an anthem for those either taken to soon, didn’t get a chance to say goodbye at a funeral, a loved one died, this I’m pretty sure is about a previous gf dying of overdose, I haven’t researched that track to much actually, ima get on to that now lol

If you want to check out a good song about grief that’s transformed into a way to grieve a band member that passed away, listen to Deftones “Minerva”. It’s fantastic. Also, Chi Cheng’s story is tragic.

Walk, 5 minutes alone…

I love you Taylor and thank you so much for analyzing heavy metal, I think it’s so great, not many people understand the power and beauty of it.
