Releasing anger and breaking free from a relationship can be a healthy and empowering experience. Interestingly, this theme ties into the reaction to Knocked Loose’s recent performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. While some embraced their raw energy, others were more on the fence. Carlos thoughtfully addresses both perspectives.

#knockedloose

This performance is right up there with Ghost performing on Stephen Colbert. You gotta branch out and experience new things.

Anger should be EMPOWERED. Something that i was aware of, but never really hit home until recently, is this is especially true for Women. Anger SHOULD BE empowered 100%. Anger happens when something is wrong. and it is your body trying to tell you something is wrong, and WAY WAY too often we just hold that shit in, fuck that, scream it out.

Steve Hughes does a great skit about being offended  https://youtu.be/vbsHox73mRo?si=IC5fP3LEf1vEKCWr

Bro didn’t just go out of his lane. He crossed 5 lanes, the median, 4 lanes before hitting a semi.

I don’t know why seeing him being so excited about this makes me happy.

Petition for Carlos to start doing some reactions :eyes:

Love that their song Sit & Mourn is the background song edited in at parts. That would be a great one for a therapist to review.

Nate you are a natural at this!!

While I don’t doubt that some Jimmy Kimmel viewers were unpleasantly surprised by this performance, I am convinced that most of the complaints were trolls, particularly the “my son was in tears by the third JUNT and I demand a formal apology” one. Maybe it’s just my brain’s way of preserving my own belief in mankind, but I have difficulty believing that that is be a genuine reaction. That being said, I do agree with the other comments that said that there is some 12 year old kid out there who saw this and had their life changed forever because they never realized that this kind of music existed.

Please someone of you need to react to Count me out - Kendrick Lamar
This song saved me

Please never stop showing heavy music to therapists

This guy gets it. Awesome video buds. We might have a new metalhead right here

I’m going to recommend that someone reacts to a band known as Third Eye Blind. Many of their songs cover tough, deep topics, but place a nice melodic tune to make the music sound unusually happier than the message on the inside. Kind of providing an outlet o ut of the message. Their popular songs include Jumper, Semi-Charmed Life, and Hows its going to be.

Their tougher songs but amazing musical notes include Background, God of Wine, and Motorcycle Drive-By.

I hope he che ks out more Poppy. Lol.

 Carlos! :heart:HeartSupport! I loved this episode so much! Knocked Loose! Poppy! Junt Junt!

That poppy recap cut 5:34

This was a great reaction i didnt think you would like it as it took me a while to get into the vocal tone and sound . But i find it cathartic. And from your interpretation helped me realise things about myself. Im gonna show and talk about it with my therapist :tada::tada::tada:

There have been studies that suggest Heavy Metal fans are better adjusted emotionally and psychologically. The brutality of the music is a catharsis for negative feelings, leading us to a place where we can process them a little better than other folks. Does it hold up? In my personal experience, yes. In a scientific sense? I don’t know, I am not qualified to make that assessment.

This reaction was amazing!! Such a joy to see Carlos react to this epic performance! He should Definitely watch the music video! And listen to Poppy’s new album Negative Spaces! It’s got something for everyone!
