The part that gets me every time is “Searching for a hook to catch on and see the sun beam”. It’s the one part of the the song that isn’t split in her duality of styles, she has both the melodic voice and the intensity of the growl. It’s like both parts agree for a line. They’re both looking for that same thing.
This is one of my favorite songs to see people react to! You definitely didn’t disappoint!

I found that even choosing which part of you, you decide to show. Is still exhausting. I just embrace the duality and show both sides all the time. It keeps me calm, cool, collected, thoughtful and funny. The choice I make instead becomes. Which parts are best for this situation? Which pieces of both sides do I draw upon to maximize the usefulness of this moment. When im working for example. I use the energy of my anger, which used to be very disruptive and hot, now when i combine that with calm and cool. I have an energy source that keeps me moving at a high rate of speed, sustainably while minimizing potential bodily harm and having the ability to make any adjustments I need to make in a moments notice. When I go to the bar for Karaoke. I use the calmness to create a space around me no one wants to mess with. I create a bubble nobody enters but I can have somebody move into and then they feel completely comfortable. All i need to do is remain calm. When my song comes up. I let the confidence reign supreme and the other emotions roll through my chest or head as i sing. Simply letting the duality become the one and choosing how to react or be in all situations without even thinking about it. A true autonomous mind.
