I think I was too young when this album came out, I changed me, I think I was like 14-15 when I bought it, I sold it then because it felt too intense, then bought it again a couple years later.
Its his “lovesong” to all the gross toolfans. He hates them lol he finds it weird that fans look so deep into his music and there always begging for more. So hes basically saying if what weve done isnt enough for you then why dont we try this until we are shoulder deep. Then maybe you can feel again😂 then with maynard theres always a deeper meaning, hes talking about you and me who are watching on this device trying to find something to entertain us for a bit instead of going outside and learning a useful skill that will better our survival. We get desensitized to everything and become numb.
