Therapist Reacts to THE POT by TOOL

I think you’d find Aenema an interesting track lol

Please do “Change” by Blind Melon. A lot of people with addiction have said that song really help them through it.

I think Fear Campaign would probably be the best one!

It’s about the hypocrisy of marajuana laws when lawyers and judges also partake in it

She really needs to hear Rosetta Stoned… that’s a trip and a half. That or dive into the deep end and tackle Wings for Marie

the grudge!!! do the grudge!

You are so beautiful and smart. You definitely get Maynard and Tool!

The Patient

Classic mistake… you can not bob your head to to Tool’s polyrhythms. Great insights though!

Did you know Led Zeppelin plagiarised You Need Love by Muddy Waters? Big farcical court case…

On channel or not, I hope you watch their Pneuma version we call 'Danny Cam". Peace/JT

As someone who struggles to turn his head off, Tool is such a kind of healing, it´s unreal. I would really like to hear a therapist´s opinion on Alice in Chains “Acid Bubble”. Not one of their popular ones but such a deep song and definitely worth listening.

The psychology is enormously relevant to the song. In terms of individuals, and their hypocritical pursuit of policy. I also think it’s interesting that he’s almost constantly mixing metaphors which implies confusion or obfuscation. It’s sociology, systems of control, social engineering, and class power dynamics.

You’re excellent at explaining the concept of the songs.:v:t2::heart:

I can’t wait for you to dissect Tool’s “Pushit” !!!

React to Prison Sx, it’s much more interesting for a theraphist to analyze.

Love this woman’s insight. How she can point certain things out and makes total sense. Think “Stinkfist” (desensitization, over stimulation) “The Grudge” name speaks for itself, consumed by holding grudges. “Pushit” (a abusive relationship) “Eulogy” (dealing with death) and “Prison Sex” ( becoming something that happened to you) would all be great listens for her and her analogy on it. Anything else I might have Missed or others have suggestions? Stay positive everyone, sending love your way

Judith by a perfect circle

Everybody knows that people who live in glass houses sink ships…

This is probably the best introduction song to Tools in their catalogue !

I can’t wait until you eventually get to Gojira since you’re dissecting Lyrics, especially songs from their Album Magma !
