I love the renditions that you have but the band has explained it’s about the horrible state our planet is right now.
As a 50 year old who still battles his demons everyday Metal is and has been my theraphy since i was around 12 or so. In my darkest moments music will always bring me back from the edge and allow me to fight another day.

Corey can scream and grind, but he also can sing. His voice is amazing. And I love when he shows both. His spreading the wings to form StoneSour and CMFT shows he is so much more than Slipknot. Slipknot was his fighting back, Stonesour is the reflection and empowering and CMFT is his own deep understanding of himself and his growth

My niece asked me if I’d take her to see Slipknot, May 2022 Toronto, her first metal concert. Been to lots of metal concerts, but was my first Slipknot show. It was awesome!! We had a great time!

Slipknot is my therapy, Metal although bad to many, has always acknowledged mental health issues openly, metal musicians are all messed up in one way or another, and they share their adversities, mental health issues, and their disgust with fake people, and society, when you really break it down it is the most honest and pure music in the world. These lyrics from bands like Slipknot are so deep, so intelligent, in such a way, that it is beyond poetic, beyond words, makes you think, makes you feel, there is nothing like metal music and lyrics that can be so true
