Went to a doctor

saw a doctor today, got a referral to a psychiatrist and another specialist regarding my health. Also got a depression screening, that freaked me out a bit. anyways, that’s good I guess.

Baby steps. Good job.

That’s great news, Graciee. And the depression screening is pretty regular for anyone wanting to see a therapist, they will usually do that or a suicidal tendency screening just to get an idea of what kind of care would be best for you. The good news is that they didn’t find you to be a danger to yourself or others, otherwise you’d be in a hospital probably. So this is great, I know that was one thing you were worried about, and now you won’t have to. I hope things continue to look up for you, you deserve it.

That’s good! Great first steps in taking care of your mental health! As Sapphire stated, depression screenings are pretty standard. In seeking mental health care, it probably won’t be the only time you’re given one - they like to keep an eye on how you’re doing with treatment so they can make better plans for you.
