I love what he wrote about not just asking for help once as well - there’s something so helpful about that, because I experience shame asking for help many many times in the same area, it makes me feel like a fool. So when someone like Aaron validates that and says - no healing isn’t linear, one and done, it’s a journey, and we have PERMISSION to continue struggling and continue asking for help - that’s super hopeful. Loved that too.
Agreed, mental health shouldn’t be a one and done. It’s always going to be a part of us and having that constant support is paramount.
