I have terrible anxiety issues, even when there is nothing to be worried about. I start trembling all over and I turn pale, and what makes it worse is people seeing me that way, and noticing it, seeing me as awkward. I try to walk away from this but it just keeps happening, I need serious help, I want it to end.

Ok I know this sounds probably dumb, but may I ask when this started? Or if you’ve one to therapy or at least told your parents?

No one knows but me, it’s been going on for years, I can’t quite tell when it started but all i know is that it’s been a long time

Hi friend.

I know these emotions. Because I battle with severe anxiety. I fight with it every single day. As an autistic and a person who battles with Bipolar Disorder, ADHD and PTSD, I also face a lot of paranoia. It can be really hard to function some days. I worry. I over worry. And I worry some more. One of the things my friends have always told me is “STOP WORRYING SO MUCH”. It’s just what I do. Its awful. So I get it.

I am an awkward person. I always joke that I am professionally awkward. I feel like I’m always making a fool of myself. It’s hard, I know. I hear you.

Don’t end it friend. Something that helped me was finally getting a therapist and trying some anti-anxiety medications. It really helped balance me out. I was also working with my doctors that helped me figure out where my imbalance was and things I could do to help that.

It’s normal to go through these things but its’ also important that we try to help ourselves over come it. By finding things that bring us comfort and make us feel good. For me this is art. Volunteering. Writing. Reading.

What are some things that feel good for you and help you recenter?

There are some resources that you could use:

1.) I am currently working through Dwarf Planet which is one of a few books here that is available from Heart Support. They also have a 7 day free trial with BetterHelp that is an online counseling. I did that as well. Its actually kind of nice. Maybe this could be of help to you? Here’s a link: https://heartsupport.com/resources/

2.) Something else that has helped me is meditation. Lots of stuff on youtube! There is also an app called HeadSpace: https://www.headspace.com/

3.) Sometimes just listening to calm music can make all of the difference for me. There are things like: https://rainymood.com/ - a variety of chill playlists on youtube that are always going.

What are some things that help you when you’re feeling really anxious. I encourage you to find something that can help, and have it available and nearby so you can turn to it when you’re struggling with so much anxiety and worry. (:

The discord for Heart Support is also available. Lots of people there are always willing to respond and chat. https://discord.gg/vAHCgU

You don’t have to fight these feelings alone my friend. Lots of people understand. Sending you lots of love. I hope you get feeling better.
