hey there,
i am friends with a few first responders and i can tell they carry different baggage home with them compared to the average human. your struggles are so valid. i can tell that first responders always need to make sure that the well-being of others is the first and foremost part of what to do, but the inner struggles of self-doubt are so real, even if they are hidden. thank you for being brave for coming here to talk and we are here for you if you ever need someone to talk to.

hey there,
thank you for sharing your struggles and the constant sinking you face. you are not alone in this. i’m so thankful this song and reaction could help you feel seen and heard. with the many roles you’ve served, there’s no doubt a lot of different perceptions and expectations placed on your shoulders. i hope that you’re able to feel that freedom of knowing while we can’t control how others see us, we can control our own path. and in time, i hope the sinking stops and you’re able to swim back up to the surface and breathe. hope to hear from you and how your journey is going again soon!
love,

Hello friend!
First of all thank you so incredibly much for your service.
They say not all heroes wear capes, and that’s definitely true in this case. People don’t understand what first responders and veterans go through on a daily basis. I come from a military family, and we’ve had friends of the family that also served with them in combat. The conversations that you can have with people that have also gone through deployments can be truly life changing, because it’s one thing to talk to someone, but it’s another to have that conversation with someone that has been through the same trenches as you.

I have to start by thanking you for your service in all areas you’ve served. You, indeed, are a hero. I can’t begin to imagine all you’ve seen and what you must take home. It must seem impossible to find your way out of those dark places. I hope that this can be a light to help guide you from feeling as you are sinking and can’t get your head above water. I see you and i am thankful that i had the opportunity to hear a bit of your story. Your vulnerability is appreciated and inspiring. You’re never alone in those times when the memories come crashing in on you. I hope that you have been able to speak with a professional that specializes in combat PTSD amd have been given tools to help you when you are struggling. If not, I pray that you do find someone because this world needs more heroes like you in it. Please reach out any time you are struggling because we will be here to keep you from sinking. You protected us, now let us do the same for you. Keep fighting, you are an inspiration and the world needs to hear your story.
With love

Hi there. I first just want to thank you for your service and for all that you do. You have taken so much on in the hopes of supporting other people, people you often may not even know. It’s one of the most honorable things a person can do.
I’m so sorry that you are struggling right now. The career path that you have chosen is so stressful. Veterans and first responders take on so much responsibility and witness so many horrific events. While I cannot begin to imagine the struggles that you’re going through, I want to let you know that we are always here to support you regardless of what you’re going through.
Please do not hesitate to reach back out.
