Sometimes our mind can be toxic. We can have negative thoughts and emotions, anxiety, depression. They are all things that happen in our brain and it can be hard sometimes.
The important part is learning to lift yourself out of dark places by doing things that bring you joy like art, exercise, reading, meditation, even cooking. I know it sounds silly but being mindful about doing constructive helpful things that clam you and make you feel just a little bit better is the first step to helping train your brain to reduce negativity.
