I have relative that has been through so much. He was sexually assaulted by his step dad, he went through a divorce while in the military, now raising a daughter with the help of his ill mother. He’s now a police officer that is struggling with what he sees and deals with on the job. He’s said he’s struggling with internal demons and sees that suicide will resolve everything that he is feeling

That sounds terrible, I don’t know what to say but I’m sorry for what he’s gone through; it makes my troubles seem small. Does he see a therapist? Good luck and I hope he gets better!
