Thank you so much for your courage to share your story and how this song moved you. It is definitely a powerful song and can speak to so many different people since we all have those demons inside of us that we are terrified of going up against.
It can feel like we are our own worst enemies when we have a demon lurking just beneath the surface. It can also feel like we will never be able to conquer that demon, so what is the point of trying? Like the song said, “Yeah, there’s no reason to change/ I’ve gone too far now/ I’m stuck in my ways, back at the bar now.” But that doesn’t make it impossible because change can happen at any time.
We are all capable of facing our demons within and winning. We are all able to fight against them and come out the other side. If you ever need any additional backup when deciding to face your demons, we are always here for you. You do not have to fight it all alone.
It’s hard to feel like you don’t have control over the the hard times. You arent the the sum of your actions.
Struggling feels like the bottom but there is so much worth climbing up for. Sometimes masking it isn’t an option or plausible. You can beat it or at least make it work for you
Atleast someone actually understood what the song is actually about.
