Hello Friend, Thank you for reaching out, I want to start by letting you know that we hear you.
I would imagine feeling “damaged beyond repair” has many layers and affects your life in different ways, feelings of being overwhelmed, fearful and anxious, worrying about what is happening now and can I cope and what is going to happen in the future, Intrusive thoughts that remind you that you are not good enough weigh you down, its exhausting, all this can lead to the belief that you are damaged, its easier to accept that than to try to fight when you are tired of doing this all on your own.
You are not on your own now, you have a whole community of people who see you, who want to be by your side. You found yourself on a road of fear of anxiety of exhaustion and of feeling damaged but I would like you to know that off of that road are paths of healing and recovery that can be found, you are an incredible human being and this post is your first big step to moving forward I am sure.
I have faith in your journey and in you. Lisa

I just want to extend to you that right here you have people who hear you. You are not alone in the hurt you are feeling and in the midst of your hurt it can feel like the whole world is crushing you.
I know I’ve been in that place and you just want someone to come by your side and take your hand. It’s a very hard thing to call out for help and so I’m so proud of you for sharing.

You are so worthy of reaching out. The steps look different for everyone. It comes in the form of friends and family, it comes in the form of professional support and it even comes in the form of taking some time to love on yourself.

You are such an intricate being and not just a car that can be dumped in the wreck and be replaced. Healing definitely changes us because trauma changes us. We don’t emerge the same, but we definitely do not emerge beyond repair.

Hello friend,

I wouldn’t say you’re damaged beyond repair. You had the drive and courage to post, and that says a LOT.

Someone can hear your ringtone and save you, even just by relating to you. They may hear it and be like “I feel that, I’m going through the same thing” and that just solidifies the fact that you’re not alone. Songs like this are kinda like being a voice of the voiceless.

As @Lisalovesfeathers said, you have a whole community here who not only wants to watch you succeed, but to also support you along the way <3

Dealing with pain when you don’t have someone who you can confide in is a huge burden to bear. I completely understand just wanting to make people notice, to have your pain acknowledged. Many in this community know that feeling, which is why this community exists; to acknowledge each other’s pain and to know that we will be listened to when we need to be heard.

You are not alone in this and we hear you. x

I also use Jelly Roll ringtones for my phone. His song “Save Me” is truly uplifting; maybe someone will hear it and come to my rescue.
