Hey Friend,
Thanks for posting and being here!
It can be so hard to deal with mental health issues and what addiction can compound on top of those. What’s helped me so well is the “bite down” mentality and understanding that sometimes I can get through my storm of mental health issues faster by facing into it. I get reminded a lot in therapy that Bison run into the storm to get through it quicker rather than waiting it out and that can be inspiring to me. Over all, you are still here, and that is amazing. You deserve to be around and I think you should stick around and keep working on it because you also deserve relief.
Cheers!
Hi, You took the first step by reaching out and that is powerful! You are here and you deserve to be here and to be happy. I believe you should stay around and keep working on this and yourself.
Thanks
Hey there. Thanks for reaching out and sharing.
You certainly have a double whammy with the combination. It’s hard for me to even imagine what’s going on in your mind at any given time. I would guess that it would be a daily struggle to go through the day with either those two things working together or working against each other. The feeling of not being able to take it I imagine would be an absolute normal human response.
I applaud you reaching out here and sharing, shows that you continue to fight and are looking for some help on how to manage and hopefully get better. There are a lot of great resources and groups available to assist in tackling the addiction part, perhaps looking into a support group could be a good first step. You can also always come back here if you need a listening ear and we have a ton of great people always willing to lend an ear. Stay strong … I believe in you.
Hello!
I want to start by telling you that my heart breaks for you, I cannot begin to imagine the difficulties that you face on a daily with having to battle with these issues each and every day. In closing, I want you to know that you have people at Heart Support that are rooting for you, and or hoping that you overcome these issues because life has some great things planned for you. Keep Going Because we are rooting for you!!!
Hi, thank you for sharing. I would first like to start off by saying that I’m glad that you had the courage to reach out to us! I can’t imagine what you are going through but I do know that you can only go up from here and it will get better with time. Keep fighting, this is not the end for you, I believe in you!
Hi friend!
thank you so much for reaching out. This already shows so much strength! Mental health issues and addiction can feel so isolating and overhwelming at times that it can be hard to believe that we have the strength to deal with them. However, just reaching out shows me that you have so much courage! I want you to know that you are so much more than a diagnosis. While you struggle with these things, they do not define you. You are worthy and deserving of a wonderful life! I have struggled with addiction myself and one thing I learned along the way is that struggling with your addiction or relapsing is not what defines you. You can always get back up and keep going and this community is here to have your back and go with you! We believe in you!
