i’m 18 and i’ve been bullied all of my childhood years. since then, i’ve struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts and i can’t seem to overcome them. I don’t see a future for myself, and i never have. this song has offered me so much comfort and relatability, even when we’re experiencing very different things.
I’m so sorry to hear that. I was bullied heavily at school, too, and it can leave deep emotional scars so it’s no surprise that you feel the way you do.
Your finding comfort and connection in this song shows that even in the darkest times, there are ways to feel understood and less alone.
Please know that your life has value, even if it doesn’t feel like that right now. There is hope, even if you can’t see it yet. Sending much love
Hey there,
I see you, a see a lot of passion for life and determination for your future there!! Your needs are valid an you deserve to feel happy about now and future!!!
Depression suck so much it i hard to comprehend… being there, getting all these dark moment and questioning sense of being… it is so exhausting to even get up sometimes… i know… been there.
True is, it is possible to overcome that, it is possible to get out of it and find happiness in places that even others dont see valued. It takes many steps, takes some work, sometimes hard. It takes support from others, but it is possible and you deserve to be happy, to live your life free of the weight you carrying right now.
Just so you know, i see you want to get in better place, to be happy. My case was similar just recently and what helped me is somehow close to what you are started already. To open up, to say out loud my problem, to name my situation and ask for help. That lead to another steps, took some time but here i am… much better place and i wish you the same.
You deserve that self love, you deserve that happiness. I know you can get it and i know you will
