I’m still breathing in sulfur
I came across this and wanted to say thank you for saying it out loud! You’re still breathing in sulfur. It seems simple to just say it, but its one of the most difficult things to do: to reach out and tell someone how you’re feeling. It sounds so overwhelming and I can only imagine the pain you’re experiencing. It must be lonely to be in a place where you are trying to move through your day-to-day but feel like you’re drowning. You’re not alone. We at Heart Support would love to hear more about what is making you feel that way. We’re here for you and we’re ready to listen. Thank you again for putting yourself out there!
Man, saying “I’m still breathing in sulfur” really hits hard. My heart goes out to you so much. It’s like you’re stuck in this toxic environment and every breath you take is just filled with more negativity and pain.
Feels like no matter what you do, you can’t escape the constant barrage of harmful stuff around you, which is exhausting. Day in and day out, just trying to get through the day while being in a room filled with smoke, and no matter how much you try to find a window or a door to escape, the smoke just keeps getting thicker. You’re doing everything you can to keep breathing, but it feels like the air is just getting worse and worse. You probably find yourself constantly on edge, just waiting for the next wave of negativity to hit. It’s hard to find any peace or solace when you’re constantly in survival mode, just trying to protect yourself from all the bad stuff around you. You might also feel like you’re screaming for help, but no one’s listening, or they just don’t understand the depth of what you’re going through.
But just by sharing this, by putting it into words, you’re taking a step. You’re acknowledging how rough things are. It’s a way of saying, “This is my reality, and it’s hard.” You’re not alone in feeling this way. So many people understand what it’s like to be stuck in a toxic environment, and they know how much it can affect every part of your life. I’ve been myself in this position as I grew up and even years later as a young adult. It’s certianly hard to keep hope while you are in what feels like the belly of the beast, but through each step you take and each day you keep trying, you are standing up for yourself, for your well-being, for the very possibility of breathing fully again one day and finding peace.
You deserve to breathe clean air, to find a place where you can thrive instead of just survive. Keep holding on to that hope, even if it feels faint. Just by acknowledging the poison around you, you’re already starting to fight against it. Hold Fast, friend. I believe in you.
