Yes! So helpful when we get permission to let go our disappointment - or at least reframe it. From what we expected from others, and then how they disappointed us - it is relieving to know…it’s not your fault. It’s not your fault if they don’t listen, or don’t respond well - it’s not because you’re a monster, because you said the wrong thing. Sometimes it’s just something they’re dealing with, and we can let ourselves off the hook. Very relieving.
