Drudging through the vicious cycles of life is no easy feat, but I firmly believe how one handles a tough situation is the ultimate test of their character. I also hate when things can’t seem to get worse, but they somehow do.
It’s also difficult to find breaks too, but at the end of the day your mental health is one of the most important aspects of your life. Sometimes you have to make time to do the activities you enjoy doing.
My favorite kind are the type that help you step outside your mind and only think about the task at hand (physical exercise, reading, music and movie watching).
Also, analyzing your thoughts is a great technique to improve your mental state. “Are these thoughts helping me improve? Are these thoughts actually true or am I being too hard on myself?”
You matter and the world would be a worse place without you in it. Your feelings are valid and it’s okay to not be okay. It’s how we pick ourselves up that really matters!
