Therapist analyzes the lyrics to Breaking the Habit by Linkin Park to discuss how most people think that breaking the habit is a single act of will power but the truth is breaking the habit requires a continuous commitment to surrender.
#linkinpark
The fact that Chester wrote these lyrics not in the hopes to garter the “dark & edgy” audience but in the fact that they were thoughts and feelings that he himself felt so often, let’s everyone know that he had an emotional connection with his audience that I really don’t think any other band was able to have. He didn’t write a sad song so he could relate, he wrote it because it’s how he felt, and it just so happens that his words touched nearly a billion kids and young adults because they all felt the same thing. It really feels different now that he is gone
Its about abuse or the internal turmoil of his mentality collapsing, either one fits.
The meaning of the lyrics actually true and happens on some people. Rip chester

Chester got me through my rough teen years, and he even gets me through my hard times
RIP to the amazing performer/vocalist that he was. His music still gives me goosebumps.
This is literally a song about suicide… “breaking the habbit tonight” is insinuating that he is going to end it
yeah she’s been living in the woods, and she never heard this song
All that I have is nothing, and nothing is all that I have. What does it mean when it’s quiet, no monologs, no persistent thoughts, and only getting quieter.
Every time i listen to lost i still cry and im a 45 yo male rip chester
We didn’t deserve Chester. He may not have written this song but he made it.
Try Nothing Else Matters from Metallica or Grey by Bad Omens. I have PNES seizures from PTSD and this music keeps me alive. I am always angry. Always. The shadow (Jung) is always right next to me and we always fight. It ends when I am in the dirt.
Testament- Leave Me Forever
Another great song on that album is
FORMATION OF DAMNATION
THE ANCHOR - MASTERPIECE
You are welcome.
Wie kann man die Songs nicht kennen
We all felt the same when we first experienced Linkin Park and Chester’s delivery.
Why she talking in third person lol
