Hello
Just wanted to let you know it ok to open up about your struggles that create this monster inside of us. Like if you ever seen the Frankistein movies there was a scientist imagine that scientist was actually the negative thoughts inside of us that keep pinning us down. We can’t let that happen to us and stop us from breaking loose. It take time definitely to move forward i know it hard but you’re not alone in this struggle and can free yourself. Heartsupport has you’re back if you need more advice.
My monster was of rage and despair due to extremely violent childhood traumas. I fought it for so many years until I discovered I have CPTSD and started getting treatment for it. I found that the monster was really just the scared inner child who was so horribly abused that he fought with rage and fell into depression in cycles of emotional flashbacks, or emotional irregulations depending on who you talk to. The old words for it were violent mood swings. There is hope for healing through trauma counseling with a compassionate counselor.
I’m so sorry you feel this way friend. Facing our monsters alone can be very isolating and overwhelming. When you deal with these fears and emotions that other’s don’t fully understand, it can feel like we’re alone in our struggles. I hope you know that you don’t have to face this alone. Whether it’s talking about how you feel, finding ways to live with this monster or just having people to listen, we’re all here for you. Sometimes just acknowledging that our monsters are real is a huge step in taking back control from it. Keep reaching out friend!
