“No amount of self-sought fury will bring back the glory of innocence.” GOD that hits me right in the heart. I wouldn’t even know where to begin telling my story. It’s far from a happy one. Somehow, I still find a way to keep going. That doesn’t make it easy. This entire album was, and is, and always will be, a masterpiece.

Thank you for being here and for sharing with us; it’s wonderful to hear that this song resonated with you – it really is a wonderful track and I’m so glad that you enjoy it too. I also love that lyric that you pulled out; there’s so much in that seemingly simple statement and it seems like the sort of lyric that can be meaningful to many while different listeners could certainly interpret it in varied manners. Awesome stuff!

You’re also so right in saying that it isn’t always easy to go on. Life certainly can be hard at times, and it sounds like you’ve faced some significant challenges in there. When we face adversity, it can honestly be so hard to think about where to start – how to tell our story, and if we even should tell our story.

I certainly can’t tell you if you should tell your story, but if you would like to and think it would feel good to share at any point, we are here for you and would love to hear it (either via YouTube comments or on https://forum.heartsupport.com/). And it’s always okay to start anywhere and just see where the “pen” takes us.

With that said, I want to take a moment to acknowledge that I’m so glad you enjoy this awesome song and am wishing you all the best. Thank you once more for being here and for sharing.

I love that you quoted this part. It makes me think of how hard it is to feel like something irreversible pushed you out of this stage of innocence. It’s like something has been broken in your life, if not in you, and even if you wished to come back to that space, you just can’t. You can devote a huge amount of energy, scream, feel the anger through every cell of your body, but the reality will remain the same once you re-open your eyes. The moment you are forced to see differently, the moment life pushes you into a place where you have to deal with this acute reality check all the times… it feels like missing on something that is now long gone. You can’t pretend, you can’t escape through your imagination - you have to deal with what is present, and the memories of what you’ve been through. It’s a haunting thought, and I love how this line conveys the complexity of it in just a few words.

Of course, this is just a matter of interpretation, and it remains personal. Although I would love to hear your story if you are willing to share it. I know the task of even having to start can be overwhelming when there is so much to say. It’s okay though to let it come just as it is. It doesn’t have to be well said or constructed - as long as it comes from your heart and serves you, it’s what matters the most. In any case, I’m sure what you would have to say is important, because it’s about you and what you’ve been through. If sometimes to keep on going feels too solitary, know you always have allies here/at Heartsupport.
