Fighting for sobriety is not an easy battle, but I do not doubt that you have what it takes. Please don’t limit yourself to the belief that you are “too old” to change your ways, or to accomplish what you desire. It is never too late to make things better for yourself. I am not sure if this is something you have considered or tried out, but maybe looking into resources that could support you on your journey to sobriety could be of help.
