I agree that it is so common for many people to fear being close to someone when they’ve experienced attachment trauma in the past, the fear is both protective but also keeping them from what they want most which is happiness and love in their healthy relationship, we all have to work on facing our fears based in the past now in the present and regain that feeling of safety to jump into the happy, healthy now

Have you heard of the Artist “Ren” yet? His song called “Hi Ren” is amazing and made him blow up. The song is about his battle with his sub conscious and also about the struggle with his illness. He has been battling Lyme’s Disease for more than a decade. Definitely worth checking out

I loved this song when it came out, but ive discovered a whole new love for it recently. I really feel it right now.
Ive just stepped away from something that was so damaging to my mental health and into something new and alien. Where i was before had become awful but it was comfortable, familiar.
