My younger sister whom I love very much is having an early miscarriage. My tiniest niece or nephew died. My sister had just broken the news that she was pregnant. I was excited to meet them. I loved them. There was no reason for their death. I want to make it stop hurting. But I can’t fix it.

I am very sorry for your loss.
I am not sure there is much you can do. Just be there for them, try to offer distraction if they need it. Give them space and time to grieve if they want it. I am sorry to say, but you cannot “fix” anything. I am very sure though that your support, empathy and just being there and listening already helps a lot. The warmth of a family can help through such dark times. Just knowing that somebody is there. You will get through this, I wish you all the strength you need.
