So you’re clearly a Slipknot and more so, a Corey Taylor fan. Awesome!

Definitely give a listen to Gojira’ s The Art Of Dying. How I see the message of the song is that you should do something meaningful with your life instead of watching TV or Youtube etc. all day. You are going to die eventually and you have to come in terms with how you have lived your life before you can die peacefully.

I love your input on this song/video. However this is actually a song about Corey Taylor’s love and hate relationship with the music industry. I’ve actually seen the interview of him stating that. How they need each other and “she” in the song is the music Industry

I absolutely love how during the entire song, he’s dead silent and still, and she’s having the best uncontrolled headbanging sesh ever. Clearly she’s found something she never knew she needed

Considering it’s about Corey’s relationship with the music world, the ups and downs, the abuse he and the rest of the band endured during the recording of some of their albums, I really wonder what the therapist would have to say knowing that if she rewatched this. This is one of their best songs IMO.

Killpop is the only song that helped me understand myself, I have not related it to relationships or whatever, but my whole life I struggled to get better cause in order to do that, one must first be able to accept and understand oneself, right? So… in short, this song helped me understand that I’m happy when I’m capable of helping others, saving them from themselves, while at the same time, I’m also most happy with myself while being in the middle of a phase where I’m most self-destructive. And I can take it, so much that it scares people. Which is incredibly counter-intuitive. So I just like to also mention that, this song, to me, is more about the relationship I have with myself, within myself vs towards others than in any other type of relationship.
