Therapist and Jake Luhrs React to Killpop - Slipknot

you should do disasterpiece

Ok, that “Die and f*cking love me” explanation got me goosebumps… Thanks for that! <3

They actually hit it spot on. Toxic relationships come in many forms, whether with a partner, a company, a customer, a fan, an entire industry… If he never said it was about the music industry no one would know. But as Corey said himself and as most artists will say, this song has a life of its own, and whatever it means to you is what it means to you.

You’ve done so many of Slipknot. How about

03:16 : “Sound a girl crying.”

@heartsupport honestly it’s been a very long time since I could say I love myself at least since elementary school I’m 30 now and I can’t seem to do anything right. Maybe I could if I started my ADHD meds again, but the last time I tried that it made me feel like a zombie. Like I could watch somebody get stabbed and just be like “meh…” but without it I’m too slow or too clumsy to actually be a mechanic, which honestly ain’t even what I really want to be.

Man… you gotta react to Iowa. (The song, not the whole album)
One of, if not the darkest song Slipknot has ever produced.

“Maybe I should let her go, but not until she loves me”

Resonates to me with the feeling of guilt from someone who harmed someone else.

“I should let go. Not until she knows that I know and regret what I did.”

OMFG, this discussion really opened my mind to some things in my life. I still have to deal with validation issues daily but, I am slowly improving. Metal music is one of the few things that worked for me avoiding severe depression because it is so relatable to me helping me introspect. Thank you for the video!

Sid dancing is the best…

But I got the message I went through a toxic relationship with a narcissist ex. :open_mouth::cry:it took me my soul to get out.

Do a revisit knowing this
Duality is about a Migraine
Rittle me this cory

WOW you missed this one.huh
The music industry is a relationship

Someone saw an old episode of ‘Star-Trek’, where Frank Gershwin (I think that’s his name, also played ‘The Joker’) plays a cop Half white half black, he’s chasing a ‘criminal’, half black half white, only on opposite sides of their body, I.e. (Juxtaposed) The girls in Kill-Pop, are the same way, juxtaposed!

@heartsupport yes, I used to do that ll the time and I still do it and I have no idea why I attract the kind of people that make me feel I need to prove something.

Heh rn i am going through so much and still grieving over the loss of my brother who killed himself 5 years ago and what not and now i am homeless dealing with PTSD and the fact i cant even see my fiance and what not which is making everything even harder but as a viking i keep pushing but i do so silently which is the way we always do but i enjoy the way yall do this video just keep it up would really like to see yall react to Ghost or even Linkin park would be great to see those
