I have become “comfortably numb” to the fact i have terminal Bone Marrow cancer. I listen to Pink Floyd even more now than i did as a teenager in 1975.

I wish my therapist had listened to this and watched the movie. she could have understood me better. the other movie was Labyrinth, but my therapist had her kids with her and totally missed the points ofthe movie.

They do Pink Floyd light shows at some of the dams here in the US … the music echoing across the canyons ad the lights on the face of the dam… just wow
I listened to this song a lot, it always best described how I have always felt. I have been numb for decades, always knowing there is a problem and never being able to work it out. I embrace the suck just to live with it and carry on, having no idea why I do that.
I’ve been listening to this for over 40 years and that lead guitar still gives me goosebump .

Great reaction. I was at this exact concert October 20th 1994 Earls Court, London and had tears in my eyes at the end. Simply the best musical concert I have ever attended.
Taylor, you should listen to pink floyds dark side of the moon, wish you were here, animals, and the wall, then you will get a better understanding of them. Dark Side of the Moon or DSTOM as we call it, is the longest charting album in music history and for a good reason. 
Watch the Great Gig in the Sky. Same concert.

As someone who has seen a few Pink Floyd concerts live, I can only say that I feel sorry for ANYONE who has never had that experience!
And this one, in my opinion, is far from the best.
Earlier ones where only the real band members were on stage surpassed this one in quality.
