When people talk over each other for long enough they come to a place where they are over each other. The reality is we often have to get over ourselves for a moment so that we can listen to the other person and come to a place of reconciliation.

You should do the song Dondonte from My Morning Jacket. It’s about his friend that committed suicide. Amazing lyrics.
This reminds me of something my great grandmother used to tell my mom. “Never go to bed angry” Basically, you are never guaranteed a chance to reconcile with your loved ones. They could be gone before you know it. These are people that we love, you owe it to each other to work through it.
I think another song you’d like is Nothing More’s “Go to War” its also about relationships.
