I’d feel better dead…
This is how I feel right now. I’m sick and tired of this life, of every heartbreak, every dissapointment I’ve been through all my life, everyone leaving me… So done…
I see a lot of comments for “Down in A Hole” this is an excellent companion to this piece of music. What I haven’t seen much mention of is the looks exchanged during performance of that song, the hopeful expressions on band member’s faces as he is singing. They knew and they were trying to pull him out of said Nutshell the only way they knew how.
Please do Down in a Hole from the unplugged performance as well!
I’ve felt like this without the heroin.
i dont care…i cry every time i hear this song. was 16 when this came out in the midst of being bullied by family and other kids at school. this whole live album is beautiful. if you want one to go along with it is “don’t follow”
One of the saddest things you’d ever see is to watch this and then watch Love Hate Love Live at the Moore back to back. The deterioration is jarring.
Check out Dirt…
Omg girl more AIC…
7 years clean from heroin. Lane helped me through it. Music is therapy and he was/is an excellent therapist.
Love, Hate, Love-live at the Moore. Thank me later!
“ if I can’t be my own, I’d feel better dead” those lines are one of the things that helps keep me going every day. I was fortunate that I made it out of drug and alcohol addiction by my mid 20s, started around 12. My ex getting pregnant with our first daughter and music like this is what helped me get through it. I’m close to 60 now, still here, still rocking and fortunate that I have my daughters and my family. 25+ years later it’s still a challenge every day but I get through it. Music has amazing healing powers. Enjoyed your reaction.
The Alice and Chains rat hole can be life changing.
I recommend checking out Love Hate Love. The live black and white video definitely showcases his vocal abilities. Also another sad one
This Unplugged show is one of the best live music DVDs ever made.
I heard somebody say. “When you’re happy you enjoy the music. When you’re sad you understand the lyrics” This got me through one of toughest times i ever been through, I was lost, not a care in the world. I’m happy to say that’s in the past. It’s unfortunate a lot of people do not get a second chance, they never got a chance to see the beauty what life has to offer. Thank you for this reaction.
Always makes me sad to see this unplugged show. It was bad here but it all down hill from here. They barely got him up there. And even though he’s half dead you see the talent.
gotta give stuck by nothing more a listen!
I hate Alice In Chains…
Alice in Chains was one of my favorite bands growing up. It was really tough to see him fall apart over the years. Addiction sucks!
