I think sometimes mental health is just living in the moment. Primal I know and simplistic but often times it is very natural and can guide us. There are things to watch out for but that is beyond my ability to advise but I have mental guards to warn me when I experience them and redirect in a positive way. I work in a restaurant and that is a pressure cooker for quick anger and emotion and it can spread rapidly from one area to another and can transfer one persons anger onto those not involved. I have conditioned myself to diffuse such situations. I know that has nothing to do with this song but maybe you have some understanding of what I am saying (oh I could go on and on about it but it would even bore me). I am also one of those types that is best when things are worse and actually sort of suck when things are normal.
For me “Megitsune” is the go go go song… it makes me forget about other stuff and just be in the moment… sometimes i listen to it when i walk home from train. usually it takes me 20 minutes to get home, but listening to that song, makes me move, move faster, and my record is 12 minutes, just listening to one song.

I think the most important part in this song beyond just the simple “Have fun and party” vibe is the bridge:

There’s something about loyalty, the importance of friends, that little mindful pause from the dopamine rush and a deep appreciation for the people/opportunity to be there. EC knows their emotions!

so, random story: I was at a festival this summer. Me and two friends were near the exit at some smaller stage, while our other friends were in the midst of things at some concert. We just wanted to have one last beer before we go back to our tents. Then Babymetal came on stage on that small stage, we were like 200m away from all the action, but i still think that was the best concert during three days of festival. If you have some chance to see them live, you should do that.

If you EVER get a chance to see Electric Callboy live, do it! Hands down, the most fun I’ve had at a concert. The entire crowd moves and knows every lyric of every song. And screams along. The best.
