Therapist Reacts to Closer by Nine Inch Nails

You should listen to Ministry. Godfather of industrial metal imo

Love this song!..

Please watch terrible lie live from Woodstock

You don’t know if you dont know.

As someone who grew up with this song, and dealt with people who thought it was self indulgent, thank you.

2:18 when you’re drunk and you lay down lol

:clap::clap: your analysis of the lyrics are spot on- especially if you take the whole album into account - but it seems that the symbolism of the visuals may have stumped you- will make more sense when you dive into the album as a whole

Next up, “Wish”!..

I had 3 quarters of the Halos. I even had one that was realsed in Japan.

You should do the song ‘Only’ by NIN

Check out "Happiness in Slavery"video and song

When you can’t hep but bounce your head to the beat… but you can’t do it without a stank face.

That sums up watching the video for “Closer” better than any sentence that can be put to words

the noise vs the quiet cry for help, i think the best portrayal of that in a NIN song is “The idea of you”. that song blew my mind when i first listened to it, it felt like digging through mud but I couldn’t stop until I understood every word and sound, and I now only listen to it when I’m in a very bad place, it’s the vulnerability behind the anger and the dissociation perfectly transcribed into music

Nice reaction, it’s a breath of fresh air to see someone react to the subtle meaning of the song. Cheers.

I remember the first time I heard this song was at Mons Venus in Tampa

Man the end got real. I wasn’t expecting such a real turn of focus to myself and listening to the scream in my story.

Nine Inch Nails has been my favorite band since I was 13. I cannot wait to see your reaction to the imagery in this video.

I wish she watch NIN “Pinion” and “help me i’m in hell” videos for enjoy her reactions :joy::joy::joy:

Things were much better when we were angry not offended.

This video, despite its simplicity, is by far one of the best ever made, I remember that when I was a child in the 90s, the only channel that could transmit it was PlayboyTV because it was beaten from all sides. And it is that both the music and the video is sadism in its maximum splendor, but it is precisely the intention of Trent Reznor who created a masterpiece
